Visit of the catholic church of St. John. The church is situated inside the territory of the University. A gothic church was built here at the end of the 14th century, replacing a former wooden one. In the 16th century the church was transferred to the Jesuits that reconstructed it in Renaissance style, giving its current shape to the church. The facade was once again modified in the 18th century, in Baroque style. The elegant bell tower is one of the tallest buildings of the old town, with its 68m. During the soviet occupation it became the typography department of the University. Nowadays it has recovered its religious functions, and it serves as the church of the University.
